Hi everyone!
I’m a little distraught as I’m looking for some answers while my folks are going through a tough time.
I received my Confirmation of Permanent Residence for my inland paper-based PNP PR application in late October. Since then, I have applied for a PR card. I have some questions, that I would love some help with:
1. Are there any additional checks that my application will go through while I have applied for a PR card after receiving the CoPR?
2. An inland paper-based PNP application where I’m already working in a job doesn’t require me to meet the settlement funds requirement, correct?
3. I have had plenty of funds available for settling anyway, but I now find myself in a position where I have to send money to my family for a vital surgery. Will IRCC be checking my financials even after I havalready received my CoPR?
4. If the answer to #3 is ‘yes’, is it okay if I have the minimum amount ($12960) available instead of what I had said I have available in my application ($25k)?
5. Once you have a CoPR, is there any reason why your overall PR application could be rejected when applying for a PR card? Just a little paranoid and want to confirm this.
I would super appreciate any answers you can help me with.
Thank you so much!
