Inland application question: Current Country of residence

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to ask a quick question in regards to my wifes inland application. Her current country of residence is Canada however its asking from: and to:. The immigration officer who stamped her passport with the visitor record didn't put an end date, however she told the officer she was staying for 3 months, and her flight return ticket was for 3 months. Can she put this date for 180 days since her passport didn't have a written date on the visitor record?

We want to confirm this because we have to submit all the documents before January 17th to immigration but would have more time to fill everything out if it was 6 months.

As there was no date given in her passport, she has 6 months.

Does customs not put anything in there computer system? Is there a way to confirm by calling or will they just refer back to your stamped passport?

No, they wouldn't have put anything into the system. If they had, she would have been issued a Visitor Record, an official document placed in her passport telling her when to leave.
