Inland app - implied status

Good afternoon all,

I just have a quick question.

I currently have a closed work permit that expires in Dec. I will be sending off an inland spousal application with the OWP. I am not currently working at the moment. There is a chance i might be able to get a job again with the employer whom i got the closed work permit from. My question is, to be able to work on implied status, on form IMM 5710 should I select that I am "applying for an initial work permit or a work permit with a new employer" or should i select "a work permit with the same employer" or does it not make a difference?

Hi

It doesn't matter.

Just be aware that until you actually get the OWP, you must strictly follow the conditions of your closed work permit.
