First of all, your wife's application will be processed at the visa office in Bogota. They are currently finalizing spousal applications in 6-12 months, plus you need to add about 6 weeks to that at the start for the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga, ON to assess your eligibility to sponsor. Once you're approved, CPC-M sends the file to Bogota.
You can minimize the processing timeline by providing everything that is required when you submit the application. Use both document checklists to be sure you have everything, and make sure you read through both the sponsor's and the applicant's guide for more specific information. There's little bits of information all throughout the application forms and the guides and the checklists - pay attention to all of it. IF they have to contact you to submit additional information or documents, it's going to delay processing. So she should undergo a medical exam with a DMP (results are valid for one year) and submit the proof with the application, plus she needs to get criminal clearances from every country in which she's resided for more than 6 months since turning 18 years of age. The clearances should not be more than 3 months old when they're submitted with the application;they're valid for six months.
You also need to submit very well organized, concise documentation of the development of your relationship. Be focused on providing evidence that supports the answers you give in the spousal questionnaire, and include photos of the two of you together on trips you've made to see one another, your wedding, etc. Label the pictures with dates and places, and identify any other people in the pics. The pics don't have to be originals, and you don't have to do anything fancy. You can print out 6-8 scanned or digital photos on a regular piece of printer paper and hand label them if you want - however they specifically say don't include albums or CDs with your application package. You are proving that you have a "genuine relationship" - meaning that neither of you entered into the relationship just to facilitate her entry to Canada. So it's good that your relationship has developed over a period of time - even if you've only been married for 2 months. Because you've spent so much of that time apart, though, be sure that you include evidence of phone contact, emails, letters, chat records . . . whatever shows the frequency with which you maintain contact and communication. They are going to interview you if they have doubts about the genuine nature of your relationship - so, to avoid an interview (as well as expedite processing) submit quality, unquestionable evidence that you are indeed a genuine couple, and make sure that your application is complete and well organized.
