Information Required regarding Passport Request.

Hi Friends,

Mine is Dec 2012 MPNP application. Application is currently in COLOMBO. Got Medical done on 31st March 2014 & have been received by CIC (Updated ECAS). Please guide me regarding -

1. How much more time till i get Passport Request or PPR?
2. Will i have to send passport to New Delhi or Colombo?
3. What is the best way to send the passport?
4. In how much time will the visa office return passport?

I really appreciate all the replies in advance.

New Delhi visa office has been working on sat & sun from some time . Forum members were getting updates on sat & sun.

sidhu saab getting updates is different thing ,.... if u want to send them an email or query then they won't reply on weekends.. even here in canada ecas got updated on weekends but officially they don't work on weekends...

i got AOR n Medical email in the night time which is very unexpected.... so officially they don't .. unofficially may be or may not ...

Dude how do you know that CIC received your medical results on 8 april? Is there a way to find out? My ecas only mentions "Medical results have been received", no date mentioned.

Hi Friends,

As i have shared details earlier also -

RPRF - 28th March 2014.
Medical - 31st March 2014 (ecas updated "Medical Results have been received"
Additional Documents ($10,000 proof, Passport Copy & Birth certificates) were delivered to Colombo VO on 8th April 2014.


I wrote an e-mail to them asking for conformation of receiving the documents but they have not replied . And since then, i have not received any update.

What to expect from these people yaar?
