Information on IELTS

Hello Friends,

I wanted to immigrate to Canada under Express Entry since 2014.
Due to documents pending from my spouse side, i could not apply then.

Between that, in 2014, I have had got my educational documents assessed from WES. Currently in process to give IELTS exam.

I would be Principal Applicant in this case.
Will my wife also have to compulsorily give IELTS exam as of 2018. Is it now mandatory ?

No. It depends on your score. If your accompanying wife attempts ielts, it will add up in your score and helps u to reach cutoff
