Hello, My file has been in buffalo since may according to the AOR we received. and we did not hear any thing from them until now. sent buffalo an email and asked about the file but they did not provide any information !! now we would like to get information on how things are going but dont know how to go about it. do we need a lawyer or some kinda of legal help to do so or what ?
we miss each others like crazy, we have a one year old baby together and he needs both of us right at this time. the distance has been very difficult on both of us and we dont know how long this whole thing is going to take!!

1. Buffalo averages 3-9 months for spousal applications, so yours is just at the start stage.
2. You have the file no. Check Ecas https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en
3. If your application is within the processing times, Buffalo will normally not reply to status requests.
4. You could always order CAIPS if you think there maybe a problem with the application, although nothing would probably show at this stage.
