Information has changed, but have no way of updating it on application

Hello It just hit me that my wife and I have a bit of a problem. (She is the sponsor and I am the applicant). My wife was let go from one of her jobs and has gotten a new one since we submitted our PR and sponsorship papers a little over a month ago, but we're yet to hear anything back. I've read in many places that we should notify them of any changes to information ASAP. But how is that possible if I can't even link our Application yet?

Are we just supposed to wait until we get an email/letter about our application or should I call?

I have read from previous forums related to the family sponsorship that you do not have to inform them of changes to your employment - I know that's the case for the Common Law Program whether it's the same or not for the Spousal Sponsorship I'm not sure.

On the AOR email it states the following;

When should I contact CIC?
You must notify CIC of any changes to your application. Examples of changes include:
• Changes in your personal circumstances, such as birth or adoption of a child, a marriage or a divorce
• Change of contact information (e-mail, mailing address, telephone number)
• Appointment or change of immigration representative or designated individual
• Decision to withdraw your application

To notify CIC of changes to your application you may contact this office at the address identified below. You may also contact the Call Centre, toll-free, at 1-888-242-2100. Changes to your address may be made through our online service.

It is not necessary but I would update IRCC. Send the update via CSE (case specific enquiry via IRCC website). You can attached letter of employment from new employer confirming your employment.
