When applying as a common law couple with 1 child (2 years old), what forms or information needs to provided about the child?
My partners’ colleague shared that his PR got rejected because he didn’t advise who would look after their child in the event that they died.
Are there any catchy things you should include that aren’t asked or obvious to provide?

Other can comment as well but assume you have at least a birth certificate with parents names listed ? Also assume the child has a passport to prove ID/nationality.

Dont know the detail but as part of your specfic PR application checklist did you not have to complete family information form including names of your family, father/mother etc..

Not heard of the other requirement which seems pretty irrelvant if someone gives names of people in a completely different country. Is a bit like including names in a will should the worst happen, only good at the time of writing a will, but who ever revisits a will to keep upto date.

A PR application cannot be refused for not stating who would look after a child if the parents died. That is not even something asked in the app because it is completely irrelevant. Their app was refused for something else.
