Hi everyone,

First I would like to apologize if my English isn't so good and if i make mistake: I'm french...
And sorry too if my topic isn't on the right place...
But I have a lots of question.

We are a French Family and we've applied online for FSW Express Entry.
Here is our date:
AOR : 28 feb 2020
Medical ok : 05 Mar 2020
Biometrics ok : 09 Mar 20
Background check : not started.
So since 09 mar 20 : nothing.... No progress!

I don't understand how it's possible that the background check is not started yet?

When I check the eligibility online it's written "we are reviewing whether you met the eligibility requirements"
But I called IRCC today, and the man on the phone told me that the Eligibility is ok.
How is it possible?

My office is the CPC Ottawa.
I found a way to contact them by mail and I've sent a lots of mail in order to ask them if they can start the background check.
I also found a way to call the CPC Ottawa and spoke to an agent yesterday... She told me that she will check my case, see what's going on and do her best. She wrote me an email today to tell me that she talked to her supervisor and she doesn't have the right to talk to me about my case and that I have to call the customer support center to have information...(everybody knows that they can't to a thing...)
Why they are not allowed to talk to me concerning my case? I don't understand...

Is anyone else in the same position than mine : AOR 28 feb 20 (or earlier...) and background check not started?

What can I do in order to push CPC Ottawa to start the background check ?

I've asked my Notes and on nov 13th they added a note "Ready to Travel" on my case, concerning an email I've sent them in order to explain the situation and that I'm sick of waiting...
I understand nothing...

Is someone capable to help me?

Thanks in advance
Rick

Because of Covid processing is delayed so there is nothing much to do but wait. You can not “push” them as many people are in the same position. Some have been waiting a year. Even if you have COPR, you can’t travel to Canada.

Thanks for your answer but I know that I'm not allowed to travel.
You must have misunderstand me or I explain myself bad : I didn't say that I wanted a CoPR in order to travel.
I just want to have a vision on my futur...

And many people in the same position : I've seen somebody so far with a background check not started since 9 month. That's why I'm asking.

I also know that a lots of people are waiting, like I do, I'm just asking...
