Dear forum members,

I have some documents that are written in Macedonian and I have translated them with the official state approved translator, those translations have seal from the translator and his number of the licence.

My question is do I need to notarize those translations?
Or can I sent them as they are, just with the seal of the official translator.

can anyone point me to a cic source for this?

Thanx

As far as my understanding, you need to send the following:-

1) Sealed translated copies of the documents (no notarization required)

2) Notarized photocopies of the originals document which has been translated

3) A declaration (affidavit) from the translator with his license number and the details of the document(s) translated

I think you should also check on http://www.cic.gc.ca
You can also find more details by downloading appropriate document(s) from:- http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/index.asp
