*Apologies for the Long Post Ahead *
Hi All,
Hope you are doing well.
I have a few queries related to education, work experience and ineligible profiles.
A little bit of background:
I am 30 Yrs Old
I gave IELTS twice - 1st Score - LRWS : 8.0, 7.5, 7.5, 7.5 (now expired) and 2nd Score (valid) - LRWS : 9.0, 8.5, 7.0, 7.0
Education - Bachelors degree
Work Experience - 6 Years
Score so far in the EE pool 435 from 2018 to 2020. Since I turned 30, my score now is 430.
My queries:
1. Education:
I have completed my bachelors from an Indian University in Dubai. In spite of physically being in Dubai and completing the course, the degree and transcripts do not mention Dubai as the location. It says India. In the EE profile, should I mention Dubai as my country of Study or India?
2. Work Experience:
2014-2016:
I started working as a Managing Director, in 2014, in the family business based in India. It was a manufacturing business. I was the managing director for 2 years, after which I resigned from the post. The company did not do well and had very very limited customers say max 3. They purchased materials from us once in 3 months as our materials were manufactured over a span of 3 months.
2016-2019:
Even after resigning from the post, I was still handling all the operations from 2016 onwards as an administrative assistant. I continued working for the company up until 2019.
2018-2019:
Due to all the financial losses and less production, we as a family decided to shut down the business. In 2017 we sold out all the machinery of the manufacturing business and kept the company running as dissolving the company was not an easy affair considering it was an import and export business. Since there was not much work to handle, I took up freelancing jobs online from 2018 onwards.
2019-2020:
In 2019, I decided to stop working for the family and took up a job elsewhere as an administrative assistant.
I never crossed income of Rs, 3 Lakh annually so I never filed income tax returns but then I started filing it since 2017.
I intend to work as an administrative assistant (NOC 1241) in Canada as well so for the express entry profile also I am claiming points of the time I was an administrative assistant in the family business and in the other company.
For documentation - Family business - I have cash salary payslips for 2 years and a reference letter listing all my responsibilities, duties, and other details.
For the other company - I do not have salary payslips (the company denied giving payslips) but I have proof in the bank statement of monthly credits. And I have reference letter with all the details and IT returns.
Question - will the mentioned documents suffice? Or will it cause any problem?
3. Ineligible Profiles:
I have visited two consultants and since their charges were way too high, I decided to apply on my own. I did my bit of research but of course it was not enough. I ended up with some ineligible profiles - 4 Ineligible Profiles due to wrong input of NOC code and 1 Expired Profile and 1 ongoing Profile.
In detail:
Profile 01 July 2018 - I kept 1241 as my primary NOC and input work experience of 2 Yrs in NOC 0114(Managing Director), 1 Yr in NOC 5241(freelancer) and 2 Yrs 1241(administrative assistant). This profile was accepted and was active all the way till 02nd June 2019. on 2nd June 2019 I received LOI from Alberta and since I had not updated my current new position, I edited the details and immediately my profile became ineligible.
Profile 02 June 2019 - I recreated another profile and kept 1241 as my primary NOC and this time I put in 1 Yrs (Administrative Assistant) in family business and new positon acquired since March 2019. The profile again became ineligible.
Profile 03 June 2019 - Recreated again and kept primary NOC as 1221 assuming that maybe my NOC is wrong. Once again ineligible.
Profile 04 June 2019 - Recreated again, kept primary NOC as 1241 and input work experience for 1241, Again ineligible.
I then did a proper research and realised my mistake and:
Profile 05 August 2019 - created new profile, primary NOC 1241, work experience - 3 Yrs administrative assistant (2016-2019) in family business and then 2019 to present as administrative assistant in other company. This profile was taken in and expired in August 2020.
Profile 06 October 2020 - created new profile with same details as previous details. Profile accepted.
Question is - will having so many ineligible profile affect my case if at all I get ITA?
I am very very sorry for the extremely long post. Any help will be appreciated. I am really trying not to visit consultants as I am not sure how trustworthy they can be.
