Dear all,

I'm posting this question on behalf of my friend.

My friend applied via EE and his profile was rejected almost instantly. Below is his information:

-PA age 39
- ECA WES report equivalent to Bachelor degree
-IELTS: L9, R8.5, W:7, and S 8
-Work history: 10+
-NOCs: 6411 8 years, 1123 1 year.

-Spouse age 31
- ECA WES report equivalent to Bachelor degree
-IELTS: L7, R5, W:6, and S6.5
-Work history: 4 years
-NOCs: 5131

Please help explaining why his profile was found ineligible

did he check the 67 point FSW grid ? it needs to be 67 out of 100 or higher, otherwise you are not eligible

did they enter the right details ? do they actually have the WES report and IELTS report?

The report numbers have to be correct otherwise profile gets rejected automatically.

How many years of experience he claimed? His 8 years of experience on NOC 6411 is ineligible for FSW Express Entry, because its a C category job. He can only claim 1 year experience on NOC 1123 (A category).

I would suggest to make his spouse as principle applicant, because her NOC 5131 is A category job and she has 3+ years of experience.

Thanks for taking time to reply. I believe as Rasel suggested it might be related to his NOC

So I guess it is related to his NOC. I suggested that he asks his spouse to sit for IELTS again, improve his band marks and be the main applicant. What do you think?

His NOC is the issue. Suggest to him that his wife reappears for the IELTS exam, improves her score and applies as the main applicant.

Thanks for your advise, that what he will do.

Also make sure they are putting the right amount of funds for a family of 2. Which is around 15300 CAD. Many people do the same mistake. They have everything to be eligible, they put less money than the minimum requirement and profile shows ineligible.
Also like others said, ielts and ECA are a must.
Good luck
