Hi, I am new to this forum. Sorry for the dump question.i am 36 years old with CLB7. best possible way for my pr is PNP. I think I am missing to score fedral 67 benchmark. I try to create EE profile but it says ineligible. My Question is do I need active EE profile even if i am aiming for PNP?

If you do not have at least 67 points out of 100 under the FSW points grid, you are not eligible to apply for Express Entry and consequently, you are automatically not eligible to apply for PNP programs that are served under EE.

However, there might be PNP that are paper-based and are not served under EE. You might want to visit the websites of the provinces of your choice and see if you qualify for any of those programs.

There are only a few provinces that are paper based where you can apply without a job. Research each PNP program. Hopefully you have a skilled, in demand NOC.

Thanks. I did some research and understand that Saskatchewan(international skilled worker) and new foundland(priority skill) are accepting without job offer. yes my noc code falls under in demand category.

Thanks. if I managed to get job offer then it will add 10 points to my FSW points(64) and this will help to create EE profile ? will valid job offer help to get nomination from that province ?

A job offer doesn’t give you points. You need a job offer and the employer needs a LMIA. The employer will have to have proven no Canadian/PR could be found to do the job. Check your score with Saskatchewan as it is very competitive and if you don’t have a masters or family in the province, your score may not be high enough. All the best.

Thanks. I try to do eligibility check with and without job offer in fedaral and it seems if I have job offer it's generating code to apply EE profile but it says not eligible if I choose job offer as NO...so it means job offer add weightage for fedaral points ?

Right. You aren’t eligible for EE because you don’t have a job offer. A job offer with LMIA gives you points.

You don't need to have a job offer to be eligible for Express Entry. However, you should still have at least 67 points and these are calculated based on age, education, foreign work experience and other factors.
