any one studying in brandon university or living in brandon or any one here who knows about brandon city ... is it really cold there also i heard in winter sun rises at 8 am and sets at 5pm . how can i find off campus accomodation there

I live in Winnipeg. Not that far from Brandon. Winters here are long and cold, Read up on dressing in layers for a cold climate. Sunrises can be as late as 8am and sunsets can be as early as 4pm.
