Indian Police clearance Certificate - Toronto

Hello everyone,

Can i get the Indian police clearance certificate at the Consular General Office - India or should i go to the BLS only.. I live in downtown.. so CGI office is close to my location..

Do they issue the PCC ??

Please let me know if anyone has an idea about that..

Only BLS. CGI doesn't accept directly applications, except Tatkal (Last minute) requests.

You can't submit PCC under Tatkal.

well BLs will take 15-16 days (it will be delivered to your house on the 15th day) but if you wish to pick it up it can be within 10-12 days .i would suggest , go to CGI office that will be quicker .

CGI will do it same day for emergency, but it takes about double fee den what BLS will charge.

I would BLS if you are not in rush. it will take max 3 weeks.

now for that i have heard they charge you 95 bucks , and at BLS center people pay 75 so there is n't much difference .

If it 20 bucks more, i would certainly go with CGI.. because that is the only document that is pending from my side .. i will get some peace of mind.. 8)

correct if your picking it up your self then obviously they won't ask you to pay for the delivery . in my case i would have burned 30 bucks worth of gas to get there to pick it up let alone the time . ;D

If you are going by Car then there is parking on Sherbourne Streets, just behind Indian Consulate or if you going by subway, Sherbourne is nearest station.

Indian Consulate is on 7th floor, go there around nine
