Indian Police Certificate

Hi,

Me and my husband are Indian citizens working in USA. Our application reached CIC on 4th July 2014 for FSW immigration program, we received an email from CIC to submit the Indian police certificate. We couldn't send the certificates with the application cause of delay in receiving them from Embassy. The certificates from Indian consulate in USA are from date "25th June, 2014". Can we send them these certificates or do we have to get new ones from the consulate?

You can send this pcc.

You can send them these. But wait before CIC ask for it. After you get PER, you will be asked to provide India PCC, FBI PCC, Medical results, and RPRF.

I'd say apply FBI PCC as the wait there is 3 months - 12 weeks.

Hi,

We have been asked to send the India PCC. The one which we have is dated June 25,2014 from Indian embassy. Do you think it will work or we have to get new PCC from embassy with latest dates?

CIC clearly says that the PCC should be issued within 90 days from the date you are sending. So I'll recommend to get a new PCC
