Indian PCC validity?

Hello,

I got my Indian PCC on May 3, 2016. As I have read on the forum that its valid for 3 months i.e until Aug 3, 2016.

My Q is- If I dont get ITA until Aug 3 and say I get somewhere in Sept, then should I apply again for Indian PCC? Also, I will not be visiting India soon. SO, is my Indian PCC (issued on May3) still valid after 3 months?

If you do not visit the country after you obtained the PCC it is valid beyond the assumed years of validity.
