Indian PCC for Passport Issued in US

My passport is Issued in San Francisco,CA and currently I am living in Austin,TX. I am traveling to India on Jan 1st. Since I do not have enough time(considering holidays) to post my application to Indian Embassy for Indian Police Clearance Certificate and get the result, I would like to get this done in India. Is it possible to do that way? Thanks in advance!

You have to get PCC from Indian consulate in US. Your PCC needs to cover your time spent in India and that won't be possible if you apply in India. So come back and apply in Indian consulate.
