I have to add my spouse name to my passport which is expiring on 09/20/26 and wp is also valid till the same date.
1. WP has the passport number attached to it.
When a new passport is received, do we have to inform IRCC about the same? What are the things that i need to make sure before I apply for renewal of passport validity.
2. I have noticed that current address of Canada is requested, does it mean the new passport will be printed with Canadian address?
3. My current Indian address on the passport is of an older house, would that be of concern in terms of police verification?
4. Is it a wise decision to get passport renewed in India, if i plan to travel.
