Check the <StatusId> after <applicationstatus>, Expand the individual nodes under <statusid> like 0, 1...you can see the status with details.

I think you should see passport printed in couple of days and then it will be sent to BLS for further dispatch. This is what happened for my case.

Yes, I would say one week at max. It's like this.. Printing ordered (couple of days), printed(couple of days) and one day to send to BLS. BLS sends it within one day.

still the status shows - Print has been initiated for passport from Mar 14th. Its 2 days now.

I submitted my normal passport renewal application (normal booklet not jumbo) and below are the timelines . I will update if anything changes

My situation : Marital status changed from single to married so had to add spouse name and address change to Canadian address .
1) Feb 8- Application and other documents picked up by Purolator
2) Feb 9- Application received by BLS
3) Feb 14- Reached CGI
4) Feb 15- Status changed in blscanada website -application in process by Consulate
5)Feb 18- Status update in passport india website- Application received with fee and its in progress
6) March 4- Passport india portal-Application submitted and under review by consulate/Embassy and CAT number is assigned.
if you check under developer tools the detailed status says: "Grant initiated" and I don't really know what this means .
7) March 16- Print has been initiated for passport.

Still waiting for update and I have to travel to India in two weeks and worried with current timelines .

What I have seen so far is status update usually happens around 01 or 02 PM EST .it may be updated today. if it hasn't updated by Friday and if you are near toronto area . you can check out the consular camp CGI is organizing this Saturday . i am planning to do that if my status doesnt change by Friday .

I have booked my flights to go to India on March 31. Can anyone please tell me the approx. timeline on when will I receive the passport? I only have 13 days left to fly so I am really concerned at this point. I opted for dispatch service.

I applied for a normal passport for my 2 daughters. One daughter, there was a police verification and my family in India has provided the details and now the current status is "Passport has been printed" for the past 2 days. So I am hoping that I will get her passport soon. My other daughter's status is still under review. police verification has not been initiated yet. no update so far. Here is their timeline

First application
29/12/2021 - Mailed to BLS
21/01/2022 - Application Date in CGI
19/02/2022 - Police verification Initiated
02/03/2022 - Print has been initiated
08/03/2022 - Passport has been printed

You have a real challenge. If your passport goes into Police verification then most likely it's gone be very difficult. If it doesn't still it could be challenging. When did you apply ?

Three more steps
1) Passport print has initiated. Do you see this status? (Not sure how long it takes. for me I got this status yesterday and nothing changed after that) . For lot of people status changed in a day from "initiated" to "printed"
2) Passport has been printed and will be delivered shortly/BLS status: In transit from Consulate General to BLS Centre (2-3days)
3)Dispatched from BLS (one day)

These days .. its not consistent and lets hope for the best.

I applied on Jan 18, 2022 so its already been 2 months. Does this mean my police verification is not done? Its confusing as it also says Passport application has been granted.
