Hello, I am a Commerce and Law graduate in India. Being having interest in computer and software, I somehow managed to start learn and work (As freelancer) in software testing domain from last 2 years. I have a temporary / visitor visa. Also if I plan to come to Canada and if I get a approved LIMA and Job offer as an software Tester (Software Development engineer in test-SDET). After that I'll get the work permit.
So, If I get 1 year of CEC (Canadian class experience) in this domain working and living in Canada and in their company.

So Finally when I apply for the PR in canada:
Main Concern :
I would like to know that, will my Law Degree will be accepted in PR application as my academic qualification, because the profile I'll be working in Canada will be IT Domain Profile (Software Tester - SDET)

Do they accept the Law Degree or they need the B.tech or Computer Science Engineering degree for that ??

Please Suggest what possible option is the best and what I can do to achieve this ????

Do you have an approved LMIA?

EE will accept your law degree.

I have belief that with all my hard work I will get the approved LMIA in software testing domain in any company.

Is there any chance, they can make an objection on having Law degree and working as Software Tester (SDET) and putting PR application under the Software Engineer in Test in Express Entry ????

Your issue with a LMIA is that the employer must prove they cannot hire anyone in Canada based on experience and education. IRCC may wonder why you are the only one who can do the job if your education is in law. The employer will have to show that education doesn’t matter and candidates in Canada aren’t qualtified.

For EE, education doesn’t need to match NOC.

So, If employer take care of all the requirements and will able to show.
Then
There is No Mandate, that education need to match NOC.

Is there any website link or Rule mentioned on IRCC website, which I can refer to support this ????

To get a LMIA, the employer has to prove no Canadian, PR or person with work authorization has the skills/experience and education to do the job. You can read through the LMIA requirements for employers.
