Indian in USA on tourist visa would like to move to Canada on student visa?

Hi,

Need an urgent help could any one know anything on moving from USA to Canada on student visa. Currently I’m in the US would like to move to Canada on student visa. Am I allowed to apply for Canada student visa from US(tourist visa). Can I write IELTS exam in the US as tourist. Please suggest me

You can - but you would be better off returning home and applying from there. To be approved for a study permit, you must show you have strong ties to your home country and have no plans on remaining in Canada long term. Much more difficult to prove this if you apply from another country while there as a visitor. Higher chance of approval if you return home and apply from there.
