Hi All,

I am in US for last 4 years and went to India 2-3 times for 3 weeks vacation period. I am in process of sending all supporting documents to Buffalo office and came across one doubt.

When I submitted my application to CIO, I didn't mention my vacation trips to India in Background Declaration form - Personal History and Addresses. I was about to send same copies to Buffalo but got confused that should I change this information and add my India visit trips too as they can find it out from my passport stamps.

Anyone encountered such issue or any thoughts on it?

It is very clear that you have to mention whever you have stayed for more then 6 months. However, if your trips to India were only vacation only, I assume that they were not 6 months!

However, due to whatever reason, if your stay has been more then 6 months, then you have to mention that and also state what you were doing.

Its clear they ask for your address if you live for 6 or more months, they r not asking for your travel history.

Thanks Mirza/Ramford,

Actually, I went through some other related posts here and people discussed about mentioning few day trips too with hotel details. As my India trips were always 3-4 weeks, so thought of confirming. Anyway, thanks for sharing info.

Anyone else faced issues later with this problem .. ??
