India VAC passport return timeline (online application)

Hi All,

I applied for my mother's visitor visa online from India. Got approval just now. Now we need to submit the passport for final processing.

I was wondering if folks can share their experience as to how many days did it take for them to get their passport back with visa after submission to VFS India? She has to catch a flight on July 28th Friday and that is what is making me a bit nervous.

Will your mom be submitting her passport to VFS Chennai? The TRV will be stamped by the Bangalore visa office. Normally, it could take between 7-10 days for the passport to be returned by Blue Dart to the residence.

However, you can include copies of her flight tickets + a letter requesting for expedited visa printing when she submits her passport
