I live in Toronto on work permit and have completed my master from Halifax. I am working full-time in IT company.
My fiance (and her entire family) have a 498a case (filed by her sis-in-law 3.5 years ago) and it's about to get settle in next few weeks. As it's settlement, they are not proven as innocent nor as guilty. My plan is, after case will be settled we will get married and she will apply for the Indian passport and then I will file for her dependent visa.
I am afraid because of the case (Which will show up in Police Clearance Certificate), she might not get dependent visa. I want to make sure that before settlement happens she have every legal document ready so her visa file don't have chances to get rejected. She will going to get NOC from this case with her entire family but I just want to be precautionary. Is just NOC is fine? if not then, Only on the day of settlement my fiance can have her sis-in-law do some paper work which can help in visa process.
I would like to know, on the day of settlement, what should my fiance get it from her sis-in-law in written (legal) that can help in my fiance's visa process.
Settlement days are coming nearer and I don't have any info on this.
No answer is wrong answer, any input will be appreciated.
Thank you!!
