India Local PCC - Any successful case - Please help

Dear All,

Apology for starting a new topic :
But just want to know - if someone can confirm, who have submitted Punjab SSP PCC with application and have been through to his/her application( got PPR or any positive update from CIC )
Note - Person have got the PCC from Police station of Punjab's permanent address but the current address is of different state ( staying from last 8-9 years )

Not done my PCC through Punjab but still since you mentioned he has been living at another address since last 8-9 years, I think he'll need to get the PCC for that address from the local police authorities.

In my case the address was the same as in the passport so I applied via passport office and got the PCC in the same day post appointment. If the address is different then they take some time, as in somebody from police department would come and verify the address / details before issuing the PCC.

Even I have done the same, my permanent address is from Punjab but I am working in different state.

I told the Police officials, they issued me the PCC for my permanent address.

BTW, as per police, if you commit any crime in other state, then any complaint registered against you will be copied to permanent address police station.

So, i think PCC from permanent address will suffice.
