India : For PCC, do we have to select nearest Police Station. However we have to visit PSK and not police station.

I live in Mumbai. During my application, I am supposed to select the nearest police station. However, one has to visit PSK but that is not an option to select? What do people do?

You have to visit the Passport Seva website portal2.passportindia.gov.in and apply for PCC by taking an appointment and visiting the nearest PSK. After police verification, PCC will be issued to you.

I visited passport seva website and was making application. Nearest police station is being asked in one of the fields. So am I supposed to select the nearest police station near my residence?

I believe you have to select nearest police station to the address in the passport.
