Increasing CRS?

I just submitted my express entry profile, and have 367 score. So seems it was all a waste of time, as the minimum score for invitation had never gone below 400 plus. Unless I can increase my score of course.

According to the CRS page (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp#a1), if I had ECA's for my wife's diplomas, I could earn another 10 points? 10 measly points for a Masters?

So I'm thinking perhaps it's a better idea that my wife create an application and I'll be the spouse, as I only have a Bachelors degree. So here are my questions:

1- Can my wife submit an application separately? Is that legal, or do I have to first cancel my application, since this is the same household/family?

2- Is this worthwhile? I mean will her Masters score a higher CRS?

Your score will be 367 if u r close to 40 with a bachelors degree and no points for spouse ielts. U have good ielts score, a masters wud have helped u. Nevertheless ur spouse cud garner more points with a good ielts score.

Good luck

Yeah I'm an old fart over 40... That CRS tool basically gave me all the answers I need, thank you! According to this tool, my spouse can reach 417! This is a game changer. So now back to my original question - do I have to withdraw/cancel my application and have her submit a new one? Or can she do so while mine is active? Can the same household have 2 express entry applications in parallel?

As per my knowledge, as told by an immigration agent, you may create multiple EOI applications, like one with you as primary applicant , another with your spouse as primary applicant, solo EOI applications etc.

Yes, you can create a separate GC key with your wife's email ID and then create an EE profile there with her as prinicpal applicant. What you should not do is create multiple profiles with the same principal applicant
