Incorrect Contact Details in application

Hi,
I am an Express Entry applicant for Permanent Residency.

I am facing a problem currently. We had initially begun our application with a representative but midway through the process, we had opted to go ahead without her. We had submitted a Representative Cancellation Form to facilitate this. We had also updated the application to replace her contact details with mine. This was done in October 2017.

We have been receiving updates on the application portal occasionally and I have been receiving notifications on those updates via email. However, we noticed today that our representative received an important email from IRCC, which we did not receive. Our representative was kind enough to forward us the email but we are left wondering why this happened as we have taken necessary steps to update the application and provide the representative cancellation form.

In the latest email sent to my former representative, we also received an Annexure which had the representative's email id on it. This Annexure needs to be filled and returned to IRCC. Could you let me know if it is acceptable to edit the contact email on the Annexure and send it back to IRCC?

Also, could anyone offer their inputs on why this could be happening? is there anything we are missing here/
