Incomplete LMIA Application

Dear Experts,

My Employer has recently applied for an LMIA for a temporary foreign worker express entry program.

Below are the reasons for an incomplete LMIA application and asked to apply again by Service Canada.
  • A. The proof of recruitment was incomplete or missing.
  • B. The payment form was incomplete, missing, or the credit card information (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express) was missing or invalid.

A: We have mentioned all 3 resources of the advertisement including job bank, linked-in posting, and with a posting on company's website. Plus the reasons of other 12 interviews that couldn't be successful, and total applications analysis of rest of the ineligible job applicants that don't meet the requirement of the role, and the shortlisted ones.

We received 50 applications from Canadians/PRs and 12 were shortlisted, and 2 were offered the role, and but unfortunately both offers were declined.

20+ candidates were not interviewed or offered the role as they were not eligible and/or did not have required skills.

We sent them the information about 12 interviews, and the reasons for rejections. We are really unsure what they need now?

Do they need copy of job applications for rest 20+ applicants, and/or copy of shortlisted candidate's job applications as well?

Please help us know what could be the possible proof of recruitment to show them.

How long was the job advertised? Are the ads still posted?

To the best of my knowledge, the company's website generally isn't accepted as an advertising location. I think your employer is short one advertising location that meets the minimum requirements.

All of the ads were advertised for at least 5 to 6 weeks, and we specifically used 3rd party application tracking engine called BullHorn (Staffing tool) that allows nearby job seekers to find posted advertisement on multiple job employment sites such as google jobs, Jooble.com, and a link to apply on linked-in and company's website. However, we haven't mentioned this information, Do you think mentioning this information and reason to post on company's website would help?

I'm not familiar with bullhorn. Your employer needs to post to three different actual job posting sites. Bullhorn sounds like a tool that aggregates / consolidates postings on the web. If that's the case, not sure that's going to do it. You need three actual places where the job was posted. And I don't believe th company's website counts. At this point I don't think there's any harm in mentioning bullhorn. Who knows, this might do the trick.

Is at least one of the ads still posted now?

Bullhorn is staffing recruitment engine that post your job on several 3rd party job boards.

Yes, bullhorn posting/company's website posting and Jooble.com posting still accepting new applications.
