income taxes in different states

hello
i have landed in canada in 2011 and left after 18 days. now am coming back to settle down again so i am starting to look for jobs in different aeras and states of canada. i am looking in montreal, toronto and alberta.

i wanted to know if the taxe rate on my salary is the same all over canada? or some states takes less taxes then other. i heard that in motreal the taxes are around 25%-30%, however in alberta they are around 12% , is this correct? if it is so it would be better for me to look for jobs in states that charge less taxes.

where can i see how much are the taxes in each states?

Firstly, Canada has provinces, not states. Also, Montreal and Toronto are cities, while Alberta is a province.
