I received my income tax returns in OCT and I received it via a cheque which was deposited . I have no acknowledgement from SBI regarding the cheque. How do I go about this ?
So I wrote a letter to SBI about the same and they replied back to me that they provide no electronic acknowledgment for the IT returns send via a physical cheque. But they have mentioned all the details in the email about the cheque no. and it reflects in my bank too .. Do I use this as a proof of the deposit ?
Also I can see the refund amount allotted to me by the IT department in form 26AS under part D and the amount and date matched to the deposit in my bank account can I use this ?
Also due to Demonetisation I had deposited some small chunk of money (INR 25k in parts) in my account as cash..
Do I need to mention this in the LOE ?
