I would like to know about income sources for being sponsor for parents.

Does IRCC ask about social assistance income come from government of Canada?

If getting social assistance(pension income) from home country(not from Canada), Is it eligible for being sponsor for parents?
because government of Canada does not give this money.

The (foreign)pension income reports to CRA.
It shows as total income with employment income in Canada on NOA.
So, It is enough income for sponsoring parents.

Whatever appears on line 150 of your NOA is what IRCC is going to use.
