Hi
I have a question about parents sponsorship. We are 4 people including the sponsored person but this includes our son who was only born January 2019. Shall we count 4 people (sponsor + wife, child and sponsored person) for past 3 years? Also in 2016 we only worked few months, is the income prorated as if we would work all year or its taken from the amount worked. Thanks in advance for clarification.

Hi
Yes you have to count 4. There is no prorate rule your income should meet the LICO Chart with Line 150 of your NOA. No exception on income unfortunately. If you don't meet the income requirement please wait for 2020 to be eligible

Good Luck

Unless the parent his widowed you have to sponsor both parents and any children of the parents under 22 and not married. Looks like you don't qualify either way due to lack of income in 2016.
