Income requirement / proof of employment

My wife is living with me in Bangladesh since October 2014. Since then she is exclusively a home maker and not working or she doesn't have any income.

But the Check List form IMM 5491 F under seriul 18 and 19 shows that we have to provide employment and/or proof of income. And there is minimum necessary income requirement.

Since my spouse is living with me in Bangladesh and is not emplyed then what to do.

There is no minimum income requirement to sponsor your spouse and dependent children.

If the sponsor is unemployed, then indicate how you support yourselves and what your plan is when you get to Canada.
