I submitted my parents sponsorship forms in 2010 and at that time my income for 2009 was sufficient according to LICO for my spouse, two kids and two parents I sponsored ( total 6 people ).

I have received letter from CIC to submit further forms for my parents. Now there are new LICO rules showing increased income. They have asked me to send them option C printout for the year application was submitted and the year preceding that. ( When I applied initially in 2010 I submitted option C for year 2009 with that under which I qualified. )

If I go by new LICO number which require higher amount plus 30%, I do not qualify for 2009 and 2010 income. But I still qualify if I take income for 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Now I am confused because the table shown on website of CIC specifically tells you year 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Do I qualify or not because they asked for option C for the year I applied which is 2010 but I no longer qualify because they have increased the LICO income cut off, but I have sufficient income for all years after that.

Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated.

If any change happen that affect your application it is not retroactive,
so, don't worry....
I have a friend that was affected because of changes..
We talk to our MP and after a couple of letter to the Visa office everything was solved...

I would suggest you to send all the years that you have,
new changes can not be retroactive,
and the good news is that for further years you do qualify...

Send them all....

Your case is looking very promising...

good luck... 8)

I agree, we should send em all. I m in same boat, submitted my sponcership in 2010July, I will submit all too.

I thank you both of you for your response.

To the person who said "we are in same boat" ... have your income increased since then and what did they ask you to send them ?

I think I will send option C for last 4 years but you never know, I am still scared.

Also I am not clear about 30% addition to the LICO. Is 30% per person or per application ? If per person it really makes very hard to meet.

I would say, we have no option but to send. I know I was eligible at that time, so will send the option C from 2009 to 2013. My concern had been for 2009 where it may be low. I have not checked, how did you chwck and where did you find it.

hey another question, did you notice the sequence in docs requested.. it says 1 to 4 then 5, 6, 7 is mising... i m wondering if a page is kissing for me or is it a error in the doc.

I searched for LICO on google. and if you need to know your own income in that year, you should have the record with you. I did not notice the sequence yet, but will look into details and then I can respond.

yes, you are right. I checked my documents checklist. On first page it is numbered 1 to 3 and then 4 to 7 is missing and then I have number 8 to 11 printed two on two separate pages.

Anyone else experiencing that ??
