Dear Officer,
In regards to the Procedural Fairness Letter you sent me on October 25, 2022, I admit my mistake. In my IMM5257 form, question 2(b) asks;
"have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry
or
ordered to leave Canada or any country or territory".
1answered no which was wrong as I had indeed been refused a visa by the USA in 2009 and 2018.
Honestly when I read this question, I had understood it as it was asking me whether I had been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any of itsprovinces or territories. That's why I answered no as this is the first timel have ever applied Canadian visa. I was under the impression that this question was asking me about Canada not other countries.Currently Idon't have the US rejection letters in my
possession the US embassy gave me.
When I received
your letter, I went back and reread the
IMM5257 form which I had filled out and realized my mistake. humbly request you to forgive my unintended mistake, I am an old man of 62 years of age and did not realize my error at the time of filling my application.I also realized that, as an old man, this was not my work or at least I have to take proper guidance from an immigration lawyer/consultant. That's why it is the proverb "the work suits in the hands of the one skilled to do it." If someone else does
it, he's sure not to mess it
up.
Once again, I ask that you forgive my mistake and issue a visa. I shall endeavour to not make this
mistake ever
again.
Regards,
Please can someone help me what should i do
I know have to appeal what grounds i should provide more to convince them it was unintentional.
Thank you
