in process to decision made?? need suggestions

hi friends,
i am new to this forum and im from Srilanka my status has changed "in process" to "decision made" on jan 10 but still now i haven't receive any email or mail.. does anyone has the same thing happen? and i emailed cic colombo office two times but no reply till now.... so im confused and i dont know how long i have to wait...!! by the way below is my E-cas status.....
We received your application for permanent residence on December 7, 2012.

We started processing your application on September 5, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

No i havent receive any passport request still now... I did my medical test twice and they ask some documents on nov 27 i submitted on dec 18... And jan they change my ecas as decision made!!!

Did you check your email settings? Could your email have been marked as spam? You could call them, some of the CIC email addresses aren't monitored.

Yes bright i am checking every day but i didnt receive any email... And i calld them twice i mean to local cic( colombo) but honestly there are just dumb cause they are just saying to email them... When i email them there is no reply!! :-(

Do you hold a visa exempt passport?

If you are not visa exempt, did you double check to ensure the paperwork you sent to them as additional documents were indeed received by them in the time-frame they requested?

If you are not visa exempt and you did not receive a passport request it does not sound as if your outcome is going to be a favorable one for you.

I would either email or continue to call them to find out what this decision is and if a physical letter was mailed to you.

I didnt get what u say that exempt visa means?
And also police clearance is the document they askd to subitted in 30 days but i cudnt get that in 30 days so i emaild and fax them the receipt of clearance saying i didnt receive within 30 days then i submit the clearance when i got it..

Visa-exempt means you don't need a special TRV visa to enter Canada. Since you are going through Sri Lanka, I assume you require a special visa. For this reason your visa office MUST ask you to send in your passport so they can put the visa in, before they can issue your COPR documents.

Did you get confirmation that they received and accepted your new police certificates?
In my opinion there are 2 possibilities that could happen here:
1. Soon by email or letter, Sri Lanka office will request your passport to put visa in, and this will mean you were approved.
2. Since you sent in the police certificate late, or if they didn't receive/accept when you eventually sent it, the visa office assumed you didn't comply with their 30 day request, and have simply sent a refusal letter.

Hopefully 1. applies to your case. But it's very strange they have not requested your passport during this time, as I believe the PPR should come before "DM" status

Hi rob,
Thanks for ur suggestion......and wanted to say wife sponsering me(spouse sponser)........ and after two weeks i submit my clearance they ask to do my second medical and again after some days they mailed me to submited my indian clearance which i went to india in tourist visa and also i didnt stay there more then five month so i submit a writen docu that i cant take clearance for five month and also it is tourist visa and attached my tourist visa docu as proof

Posted by: vijay1987, Don't worry They will Send a positive reply to you, i am also from Sri Lanka, Now i got visa... don;t worry police clearance only needed if you are stayed over 6 months only... so don`t worry they will contact you... last time send whole supporting documents but they thought we didn't send Marriage Certificate Original and National Identity card photo copy... one day they called me over the phone and requested to send Marriage Certificate Original and National Identity card photo copy but i told them i already send it to you and just am asked check my file... then after 2 weeks later they made a decision ..... and 20 days later Requested to Submit our passport to visa processing on 18 march 2013, but i unable to send passport with 30 days and i sends date extension letter for late submission our passport ... and submitted my passport after almost 45 days later, and we got visa yesterday, 0778737074
