I have applied for citizenship and I know my application was received, as I sent it through Xpress post with tracking, but I haven't heard anything from CIC. How long does it usually take for them to process my application into their system?

Since you just applied in May give it about 30-90 days.

This is normal. You can expect the AOR (Acknowledgement of receipt) in June if you're lucky.
