E-Cas says:

We received your application for permanent residence on August 12, 2013.

We started processing your application on January 24, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

I recently Added my Spouse on 31 Jan 2014. Most of the people who have filled in August have Received their RPRF Email but I haven't got any ::) well it doesn't surprise me because I made a spouse addition to my file. But I like to know how its going to work. Will I get another AOR ? where should we expect my Wife's Medical Request on my Email address or her's ? and How long?

If anyone in this forum has any experience please share. Thanks

Hi attitudefever,

First of all, nothing to worry. As per my knowledge, you will get medical request for your wife now. At the same time they may work on your security and background checks as they already started processing your application.

You will not get any more AOR at this point of time. You wife's medical request will come on your email address only as you are the principal applicant, but however please keep an eye on your wife's email as well just to be safer side. Specifically if you are using Gmail account, keep a close eye on promotions tab which they introduced recently and also NEVER DELETE junk email directly without really watching at them.

I can't say any time frame in terms of your wife's medical request.

Just to inform you, I have added my new born son after we received my PPR...added him to my application and finished his medicals as well....just waiting for the second PPR now.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Thank you for replying Sarayu. Yes I do Use Gmail and I am keeping an Eye on all the Email tabs, I haven't received anything yet neither my Wife on her Email account.
Hopefully we will get her Medical request soon. I know adding spouse will cause delays in my process but I am hoping not long delays.
Thanks again.

Just to let you guys know, today I have received 2 Emails from CIO. One for my wife's AOR and second one is for her PR Medicals. :)
That seems a good sign but it may also mean that our RPRF Request Email is Far away. :-X

Hi attitudefever,

That's good to hear from you. You don't have to wait for the RPRF request, you can pay it upfront so that you can save some time at later stages.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

I sent my file to CIO in September and did my medicals in October. I added my spouse to my file in January and sent the documents to Ottawa, i do receive a medical request for my wife but i never received any new AOR.

I sent my wife's doc to CPP-Ottawa as they mentioned in email to me.. so its all depend upon ...

Right, The new AOR email that I have received has the same CIC file number that I originally have. It just says more that now my wife has a UCI number too. I don't know why we need her UCI number. Anyway receiving er Medical Request is what I was looking for.

Hi attitudefever,

May I ask how you added your spouse?

I am PNP and has similar time line with you. I just married and sent email to CIC to update my status. However, CIC replied to add my spouse as "Non-accompanying Dependent". Does it make sense? Is your spouse added as "Non-accompanying" or "Accompanying"?

Thanks for help in advance!

First of All I want to update you guys. Today I Got an Email from CIO NS asking for RPRF both for my wife and Myself. :)

As far as your question concern "gzheng". An Email wouldn't work you have to send all the required documents to your Visa office. You need to write a cover letter explaining that you got married when and where with yours and your spouse's immigration forms, personal ad civil documents.

• IMM 5562 Travel Supplementary Form (current trip information only if you have traveled outside of canada for your marriage)
• IMM 0008 Generic Form (Refilled With Spouse Information)
• IMM 5669 Back Ground Declaration (Spouse Information, do not leave any history gaps)
• IMM 5406 Additional Family Information (refill again one for yourself Include Spouse and fill one more for your spouse family)
• Copy of Marriage Certificate and Copy of Marriage Registration Certificate (English Translated)
• Copy of your spouse National Identity Card
• Copy of your spouse Passport
• Copy of your spouse Birth Certificate
• 6 Photographs of your spouse as mentioned in Appendix A
• original Police Clearance Certificate of your spouse
• fee payment Receipt your spouse

I mentioned her as Accompanying. I don't know why CIC has told you not to. No Idea. May be they have miss understood your situation.

Good Luck :)

Depending on your nationality and the travels she made you can wait long long long like me or you can get it quick...

There is no average for that.

Hi,

Does anyone know if you can see your spouse's information from "CIC - Check Application Status" after you added your spouse?

I have added my spouse recently, but my CIC status did not change at all, meaning no my spouse's information (like Medical received, etc.) showing up.

I tried to login using my spouse UCI, but showing no application.

Thanks!
