In Person Applications only taking 2-3 days

I just submitted my passport to the canadian consulate in LA in person, and was told to pick it up on Monday (today is Thu). Looks like the delays associated with upgrading the software have been resolved. Thought I would give everyone a heads up.

I read in another forum about the same timeframe at the NYC consulate in late May.

I had urgent travel and presented my visa application in person at Seattle yesterday and... got my passport and visa approved today!
