Hello,
A friend of mine got an ITA and is wondering if they need to get a medical exam (IME) done.
She came to Canada in 2018 on a student permit and had her medical exam done upfront at that time. She has been in Canada since that time, only leaving for a few weeks to go back to India for vacation.
I cam across the below on the IRCC website talking about a temporary exemption till 2024 which allows certain applicants to re-use their previuos IME:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/notices/2022-foreign-exempt-ime.html
So does that mean she doesnt need to get it done again?
