I'm a bit confused about this Moving or returning to Canada (cbsa-asfc.gc.ca)
It states than one has the right to bring his belongings as long as they are used. I know many people who entered Canada for the first time as PR who brought with them brand new items : kitchen ustensiles, clothes, electronic devices without any issue. Am I mislead anyhow?
There's also an exemption of 800 CAD for people whose country prohibit foreign fund transfers. I wonder if this is a limit per person and per entry as they also say those can import items during 3 years as to use the funds they have in the country of origin.
