rules for importing to Canada are only 1/2 of the story.

You also have to EXPORT from the USA (most cases):

is there any fee for exporting from US or its only the import fee to RIV in Canada?

My 2 cents here:-
keep in touch with both RIV and the border in US ur exporting the car from.
(Yes first u goto export centre in US border)
Yes it does cost money on both sides while bringing the car.
You have to use the exporter services mentioned on the website to export the car out of US.
You would also need ur VIN history.
