My question is very important regarding my future.
One of my dad friend who belongs to sikh (singh) religion living in pakistan after making contact from India and find one singh who sits in Canadian parliament requested him to send me visit visa. he agrees and ask to send my passport copy. After sending copy he submitted the affidavit with applying visit visa for 5 years. He said the next procedure is file will go to Pakistan Home ministry for verification then foreign ministry after finalizing file send to Canadian embassy. 2 months have been passed about this.

I want to ask is this a right procedure or he is making me dumb?
i dont have file number then is there any other procedure by whom I come to know the truth??

please brooooooo help me. day by day i am coming mentally tortured. :'(

A member of parliament cannot apply for a visitor visa on your behalf. You must apply yourself. The instructions are here:

A member of parliament cannot apply for any kind of visa on your behalf. So the answer is that there is no type.

It doesn't matter if he is a Sikh, Mulsim or Hindu living in Pakistan. The Canadian Singh ( regardless of being MP ) can only send him an invitation to visit him which the individual will go and apply from Canadian Embassy in Pakistan. It can be done online these days or mail the application, or in person
There is no special preference or visa which can come via an MP

bro u r absolutely right it doesn,t matter whether he is sikh, muslim or hindu. we said to him bcz as we all heard sikh are strong over there in canada. we didn,t said sikh to say Mp singh to sponsor us bcz we dont know the single thing. i want to just know whether the procedure i wrote in the first column is right or wrong abt the verification from the ministries? if this procedure is not for visitors then for whom??

Sorry, no idea what that is? Visitors always need to apply themselves
