Import Vehicle Using Vehicle Import Broker

Going to post this here as well..

I am thinking of using a broker to import my wifes car to Canada, which leads me to this question...

If i do this, can i still list the car on the "goods to follow" form and not have to pay duty on the car if I give the company importing the car the form?

Does anyone have experience with this?

GTF form would be filled by you and submitted to CBSA for stamping upon landing. Once GTF is stamped, you will send a copy of GTF to broker so that they can move the car duty free for you.

No. I did spoke to one of the broker in 2015 regarding the process but then later moved car myself.

I had followed same process though for my goods. I crossed the border, got my documents stamped, then sent copy of work permit + stamped goods to follow to ABF and ABF moved my goods duty free to Canada.
