hello guys.. i just wanna know about the implied status.. i pass my application last dec 2011.. and ive got no results yet,, and my work permit will expire by september 2012,, by the way processing right now im afraid.. what will hapeen if i still diddnt have an open permit and my working permit expires...? is implied status will be automatic? or i need to apply for it?

Hi, are you Pinoy too? :) an "implied status" is when you apply for a work permit extension before your current work permit expires. Your question is a bit confusing in details. You applied for a work permit extension last Dec 2011 without any results yet, right? How come you have a work permit that will expire by Sept 2012?

Work Permit application by paper will only take 24 days to process for the same employer while online application only takes 17 days. You can call the toll free number at the back of your work permit. They will ask for the client ID number written on your work permit as well as the year of your birth. They would have a decision for you by now... IF you did pass an application last Dec 2011.

@ailooney yup im also pinoy..the one that i passed last dec2011 was for my open work permit application,,, what im worrying is what if i still diddnt have an open work permit and my working permit will expire..which is by september this year..
