hello,my brother is on trv visa till valid feb 2018,he applied second time paper application extension for trv visa,i want to know that he's on implied status now,can he apply work permit on implied status....he have truck license here one of manitoba trucking company gave him lmia for work permit.pls reply urgent

One of the immigration colsultatnt told me u can't get it work permit on implied status,he said if u go to the border they didn't give u becz u r on implied status,pls tell me is this correct !!

The border doesn't issue work permits for TRV holders.
