hi everyone,im working under noc 6661. My consultant told me she applied lmia early jan 2015, i already paid her processing fee and my mplyer paid the lmia too. But last feb 2 she told that the lmia returned because of incomplte due some prblem. so she file my papers due to extension feb 2 even my work permit will ve expired feb.15,2015.she told me i can still work. But after a week she called and told me that my papers is late filing so i cant able to work.( i thought i implied status)
I dont know what can i do. She cant even respond all my calls to clear something.

You have to find out when the application to renew your work permit reached CIC. If the application reached CIC after February 15th, then you don't have implied status and have to stop working. If the application arrived on the 15th or earlier, then you have implied status and can keep working. If the application arrived after the 15th then you would need to apply to restore your status in addition to filing for a new work permit. So it's very important that you find out when your application was received by CIC.
